Initial Phone Call

This is a 15 minute telephone consultation at no charge to see what your needs and expectations are. We will then work to schedule an initial virtual appointment.

Please note: this initial phone consultation does not establish a professional and/or physician-patient relationship; the goal is to explore if you would benefit from an initial consultation.

Initial Consultation:

The first visit is a 65 minute appointment with the goal of establishing an initial diagnosis and treatment plan. This entails a detailed medical and psychiatric history where we will go over current concerns and symptoms. We also want to learn more about you as a person, and will go over topics such as daily activities, social relationships, and values. We will review goals for treatment and go over recommendations for medications and further testing if necessary. We will also do neurocognitive screening, which includes testing of things like attention and memory. At the end, I will answer any questions that you may have and finalize a plan.

Once you become a patient:

As a patient, we will typically meet monthly to track treatment progress, make any adjustments as needed, and answer questions. Follow up appointments are 30 minutes long. You will also have access to me via email or text message during business hours in case any questions arise or if appointments are needed sooner.
